DESCRIPTION:Last week the Athens City Council refused to include the Pledge of Allegiance as part of their meetings. It has made national news making liberal Athens\, yet again\, an embarrassment to the rest of Ohio and America.\nWe plan to meet at City Hall before their next meeting and as soon as they call the meeting to order\, stand up\, place our hands over our hearts\, and recite the Pledge.\nThe meeting starts at 7pm\, but you may want to get there at 6:30pm to get a seat in the council chambers. They will try to pack the place with their crazy like minded friends to keep us out.\nLet’s show Southeast Ohio that\, unlike the elected leaders of Athens\, we are Patriotic Americans\, respect the people who fought for our freedoms\, and feel blessed to live in the best Country in the World.\nIf\, for some reason\, they kick us out\, or we have people that can’t get in\, don’t leave! We will have a demonstration on the sidewalk in front of City Hall.\nWe want to be respectful\, courteous\, listen to police\, and have absolutely no trouble. Unlike them\, we respect laws and law enforcement. We Back the Blue.\nHope to see you there!
